Fitness DVD: The ART Method by Celebrity Personal Trainer Terri Walsh

The A.R.T. Method stands for Active Resistance Training ®, and is a technique I created based upon 4 active resistance points ™ that, once consistently applied….prevents injuries, and trains you to engage your WHOLE body. All. The. Time. The DVD workout is 90 minutes long, and each segment is about 10 minutes long (give or take). The segments are sequenced so that you can do each target section individually, if you have no time….and STILL get a full body workout, OR, you can combine them into two killer 50 minute workouts.

The best thing is, these workouts are programmed at a comfortable 128 bpm…so when done correctly, also raise your heart rate into the cardio training fat-burning zone. So, it is ULTRA-efficient. I use 4 yoga blocks to increase the difficulty, but if you’re a beginner, or don’t have any blocks….you can do the workouts perfectly fine without the blocks.

The basic principles and introduction to the A.R.T. Method has been launched here in an accessible weighted mat workout DVD, but once learned the ART Method can be applied by students in any fitness, sport, yoga or dance program. I hope you enjoy my efforts!
